Peter Zemmer Pinot Grigio

This is the varietal that Alto Adige is best known for! Here in the TRUE Alpine climate, Pinot Grigio enjoys many days of sunshine, cool evening temperatures, and wonderful soil to create crisp, mineral laden, citrus and complex Pinot Grigio. Low yields and hand production make the difference! This wine is made from a few vineyards of differing elevations at the estate to coax even more complexity from the wine. The rich aroma as well as the excellent acidity makes this wine crisp, rich and particularly elegant. On the nose elegant notes of flowers blend with typical tones of green apple and spices. On the palate the wine shows melon and pear driven fruit notes in a full-bodied style while maintaining the fresh acidity so commonly associated with the Alto Adige.
