Domaine Girault Sancerre Rouge
The 100% Pinot Noir fruit is harvested by hand, sorted, then vinified in vats for a month. After alcoholic fermentation, 70% is aged in stainless steel vats, and the remaining 30% is aged in barrels. Blending takes place 10-12 months later and the juice rests for about two months before bottling.
The result is a gorgeous, ruby red wine with aromas of red fruits, that is full-bodied and robust with supple tannins.
