Château Pech-Latt Grand
Vin du Château
Château Pech-Latt Grand Vin du Château
This wine from the Corbieres AOC within the Languedoc is made from a blend of old vine Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. Grapes are all farmed Organically and carry the Ecocert for Organic origin on the label. All the fruit comes from vines on light, clay alluvial soils on the banks of the Orbieu River. This wine radiates intense aromas of licorice and black currant fruit. Unctuous in the mouth, these same notes unfold on the palate with suppleness and roundness, enriched with blackberries and additional spice notes.
Map of Region
Name: France - Lanquedoc | Desc: In the South of France, this area produces large quantities of wine. Some of the best regions like Corbieres and the Cotes du Roussillon produce much smaller yields and focus on quality rather than quantity. This is also a region where organically grown grapes are quite possible due to the favorable weather conditions. | Pic: 8fff2_France - Languedoc 1.jpg
