St. Urbans-Hof Goldtröpfchen Kabinett

The Goldtröpfchen vineyard is known for incredibly steep vineyards, a highly decomposed blue slate soil and its proximity to the Mosel River which all lead to a warmer microclimate. As a result, the Kabinett appears with richly ornate aromas of tropical fruits, a spicy minerality and a sophisticated structure. The powerful body is balanced by the refreshing acidity and hints of wild spices, which simply increases the wine’s flow and aromatic complexity. It is a perfect accompaniment to exotic dishes such as Indian lamb masala, grilled pineapple with ham (including on toast) or cod and passion fruit with a beurre blanc sauce.
