Peter Zemmer Lagrein Riserva 'Furggl'

This wine, full of character, comes from selected individual vineyards stocked with vines grafted to slow growing rootstock and trained on wire trellises (Guyot). The extraordinary quality of our Reserve stems from grapes grown under the best conditions on the loamy soils in the community of Ora with tender care of the vineyards. This wine is a deep, dark garnet red with violet reflections the wine is redolent of violets, bitter chocolate, wild berries, licorice, and vanilla. Those tones translate to the palate backed by velvety mouthfeel, with soft tannins, prominent structure, and a very long finish.
