Paolo Manzone Barolo 'Meriame'
100% Nebbiolo from the Serralunga region first produced in 1999 from a severe selection of the best fruit from the cru vineyard at and elevation of 350 meters, it is all stainless steel fermented and then aged in 90% Slavonian oak large ovals (15Hl) for 24 months along with 10% French oak Tonneau. This is red-fruited with notes of cedar, walnut and licorice with some crushed stone minerality to it. Medium- to full-bodied, dry and a little chewy with broad tannins and juicy acidity.
