Rosso 'Ardì'
Paolo Manzone Langhe Rosso 'Ardì'
A blend of Barbera and Dolcetto from Estate Vineyards. First produced in 2008 from the area of Sinio, part of the wine is all stainless steel aged while the other part spends time in French oak tonneau. The vineyard is 400 meters in elevation facing South East and this wine is made from the gentle pressing of destemmed grapes at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit and eliminate oxidation. This wine is ruby red with a dark crimson edge. Fresh dark berry and plum fruit notes combine with a hint of spice and cocoa. There is a harmonious balance of medium body, gently grippy tannins leading to a smooth, long, and pleasant finish.
