Paolo Manzone Nebbiolo
d'Alba 'Mirinè'
Paolo Manzone Nebbiolo d'Alba 'Mirinè'
100% Nebbiolo from Sinio first produced in 1970, the wine is all stainless steel fermented and then aged in French oak tonneau for 12 months. The vineyard is 400 meters in elevation facing South East and this wine is made from the gentle pressing of destemmed grapes at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit and eliminate oxidation. This wine is dark red with a crimson edge. Fresh cherry, dark berry fruit notes combine with dried cranberry, spice box and cocoa aromas. Full in body with grippy tannins and a crunchy acidity to keep it fresh leading to a flavorful finish.
